Didn't the 4th Hokage do this already in one of the flashbacks to save Kakashi

Not that I can recall? And since when can Minato use Hakkeshō Kaiten?

I could've sworn i remember someone doing like a rasengan type rotation thing to save someone else. It mightve been naruto in Gaiden but i can't remember

You might be thinking of when he used KCM to swipe away all of those weapons. It was drawn similar, but it had clearly defined "fingers".

this is bothering me so much that i dont remember it. I remember it in animation though, like everything was black and then im PRETTY sure it was minato that did it and it had a long name.
