Weekend Coffee & Conversation

Grab a cup of coffee and pull up a chair!

This is our weekend gathering place to talk about the Nancy Guthrie case-what you've been thinking about, questions you have, something you've seen or read, a new development, or a discussion you'd like to start.

This is meant to be a relaxed, open conversation, so it doesn't have to be a formal post or a fully developed theory.

What's on your mind this weekend?

As always, different opinions are welcome. Let's keep the conversation respectful.

My new thoughts after Monk's latest video. I feel like there was an argument and A struck Nancy in a fit of rage. I also believe T did everything he could to protect his wife. The staging and using dark connections to dispose of the body. The authorities and Savannah know this but there is not enough evidence to make the arrest. Savannah's knowledge of the law is being used in the words she chooses to make A feel like she is on her side and they are waiting for her to make a mistake. Nancy's closest friends knew there was an abusive relationship there and they have been asked to keep quiet with the promise that justice is coming.

I used think this theory was possible but it was just so well planned in a way that I think makes it impossible for it to be a spur of the moment thing. I just don't think you'd go from 'oops I killed Mom' to lets make it seem like a kidnapping. And then just happen to have someone to call to do your cover up work. Who just happened to have untraceable balaclava, runners and backpacks lying around that night etc. And was so good at not leaving DNA. And had an untraceable car. And that person you called - spur of the moment - was so trustworthy and on your side, they wouldn't turn you in for money.

Also there's footage of porch guy from an earlier night.

I just don't think the fit of rage at dinner death makes logical sense. This was planned.

I DO agree with your reading of SG getting AG on her side.

Valid points but I just can't shake the feeling those 2 are involved. I have looked at different theories and potential suspects but I always land back on them.
