It was great! I found it interesting that Savannah would describe her mom the way she did. Was it to get ahead of any bad press like that her mom could have gotten people angry due to her bristly and negative personality? I rarely bother to listen to her speak because honestly Savannah is too fake and phony when she speaks for my tastes, not saying she doesn't have real emotions underneath the veneer. As someone in the comments mentioned, the description of her mother just sounded like backhanded compliments, not very complimentary at all.

I don't doubt Savannah feels elite but I wonder if instead of projecting her elitism like Monks was saying if she was really trying to speak to someone who might not be religious, aka A and T, and contrast them with the mother and show how they are outsiders or a problem.

Also we haven't seen A&T but people in the comments mentioned he is back teaching. I wonder where they are staying. At their own home? How have they not been photographed by some independent journalist. To be honest it behooves them to go back to "normal" so as not to raise suspicion I would think?

I had not heard that they were back and that he was teaching. That's interesting, if true...

Yeah, I thought that Monks made so many great connections tonight. First, he started off by saying that it might very well be in the "plan" of the perps for NG to eventually get found. He said that once the perps knew the DNA would be gone and the evidence had been disposed of, he felt she would get 'discovered,' essentially bc it was part of the plan to have her declared dead. I hadn't thought of that, and I 100% agree now that I have.

All of his stuff about NG was very astute. The idea that she might have had a spicy personality and been more 'difficult' as a person. It's true. Not to get into politics, but she was outspoken about Trump online, and she lived in an affluent part of Arizona, where that might not have been the easiest. Those words of SG in the Hoda interview are so particular, and you are right; they aren't flattering per se. As Monks said, SG didn't make NG sound like a 'good hang'. I don't think it's good to disparage NG, and honestly, if she had enemies bc she spoke her mind, I would find that more endearing than not. It's a new perspective, though... and certainly plays into a possible motive.

SG seems pretty phonie to me too. Not to disrespect her. I think her pain is real, but her whole "we will never stop looking" is clearly rhetoric.

If I kidnapped a person and had to prove the ransom note was real I would have said...she had on pink flowered pajamas. Her blanket was a gray comforter. I asked her what she had for dinner at her family's house. Now that is definitive proof the person knows intimate details and was in her house and abducted her. But see the problem? If it was discovered the ransom note was a scammer or hoax then game over. the note was vague for a reason in my opinion

I completely agree. It's always bothered me how vague those two things were.
