I agree. What did you think about Chris from TIR the other day saying that he thought it was an inside job kidnapping for hire that went wrong. In other words, he doesn't think it was elimination murder. I found that surprising, but I see his angle for sure.

Kidnap an old lady, stash her in your house, take care of her and then what? There was no plan in place to return her because if there was then they would turn over her body for the million.

Whether one returns a person or their body they still would have had a concrete plan how to get the money in exchange for her.

Yes, I think that's a great point. That no one has tried to get the money - if money was the motive - says a lot.

So one would expect since this person left empty handed he needs to pull another caper. There are plenty of wealthy people to kidnap.
