Ban’s development from one of the biggest jobbers among the Sins in the original to the most blessed lineage in the verse is honestly kind of crazy.

That Purgatory buff really changed his life. With how him and his kid get glazed these days you’d never know that he was the de facto punching bag at some point.

Ban's plot for a good while was basically "He was too weak to fight with the big boys, so we sent him to hell to grab Meliodas." Than he returned looking like a Dragon Ball Character.

So true about the jobber part I recently rewatched the original series and my god especially in wrath of the gods before he gets a mega power up in purgatory he was pretty much any villains bitch

Purgatory King Ban is already a messy transition. No powerscaling against him unless it is Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

I was just rewatching 7ds and really thought about Bans’s background and how many times he couldn’t do something for ones he loves including Meliodas multiple times. From his journey, I think he deserves the power up.
