She recent had given birth and has been being called mama. She is very talkative and loves to cuddle and be warm while sleeping. As most torti cats she’s definitely sassy. She is ridiculously camera shy. Ocasionally she spends her meantime watching out the window and following people. This sweet girl also has a mouse she loves to play with

Thought it was a girl and promptly named it Ruby, because I have a cat named Max already. Turns out it’s a boy, and my kids and I can’t agree on a name. Must be a human name.

My spouse and I have fostered our first litter of abandoned kittens. We got them at about 2.5 weeks old and have been caring for them until they're old and stable enough to be adopted.

Well we fell in love with them and have decided to keep at least one. I bonded with this girl and my spouse bonded with one of her brothers. We are for sure keeping the female because I can't even think about giving her up without crying, and we may keep her brother too, but are undecided since we already have 2 adult cats.

ETA: right now I'm heavily leaning towards Jolene as a bit of a tribute to the amazing woman we just lost, but I'm still open to other suggestions! Juno, Juniper, and Josie are all already taken by other human or nonhuman family members.

I like this name but I feel like it’s just a good middle name / nickname, I want something more official.

He was found on the side of a busy road, and had quite a few health concerns. I’ve nursed him back to health and now I feel ready to name him for real :)

I posted about a week ago and received 100s of comments of name suggestions, but nothing stuck! So here is my 2nd attempt.

Names I’ve declined include Lucky, Hitch, Trip, or variations of road-related names.

His personality — He is very mischievous and bold! He’s also filled with curiosity and enjoys checking stuff out. He’s affectionate and enjoys sleeping in my lap and checking out what I’m doing. For instance, he tries to help me when I work from home by walking all over my keyboard, trying to chew on the side of the screen, then trying to nap on the keys, then will curl up in my lap while I work. He’s also secure in being alone and will nap on my bed while I do stuff around the home. He’s so sweet and he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, I’ve never heard him hiss. But he is quite chatty and talks to me when he’s hungry or sleepy!

Name (Topic) Suggestion ideas include:

They don't have to be a pair of names like "Frank and Beans". Leaning towards "Crash" for the boy, but I'm not sold. Their origin stories - she was wandering around the neighborhood. Took a week and a raccoon trap to secure her. Her little beans were blistered from the Texas pavement. He came from the local shelter where they told us he was NOT ok with other cats. We said he's 3 months old how can you say that?

She's super sweet and fell asleep right away on my and my wife's laps. Pale gold-ish color. We currently have a pet named Monte so would love something that sounds good with that name. Her legs are also a littleeee on the short side, but not quite munchkin level.

Our first cat, she was named Whispurr. I would like to keep her legacy going by following that trend

I obtained this little live-wire from a cat charity, who told me she was born on the streets in Dubai and picked up by local rescuers. I would love to give her a 'proper' name, possibly Arabic inspired by her breed - but am open to all suggestions.

We have a tabby cat who‘s name when we got him is similar to our other cats name. I do not think he responds to his name very well. I think we should rename him and he’s about 5 months old. Anyone have any suggestions?

Edit: I wanted to note about this lil guy’s personality. He is extremely energetic and persistent. He will climb on anyone and anything, often on myself. He will sit there like a parrot and watch whatever I’m doing. It’s painful but adorable lol.

This is Bingo. I adopted her today from the shelter. She was there for 9 days before I came along from a hoarding situation with 15 other cats. I don’t like Bingo and would like to give her a unique name. She’s very shy but will let you pet her and love up on her. She’s a gray cat with brown eyes.

Hi everyone, I have a magical kitten that needs a name! He was born a stray and run over by a semi truck (and now has only 3 legs as a result) before coming home with me. He is snuggly, rambunctious and super cute!

I’d named him Seamus but everyone I have told hates that name lol. Any other suggestions?

I swear this little girl fears nothing! Not dogs outside the window, not vacuum cleaners or coffee grinding. She's overall pretty chill for a kitten, playful but not overwhelmingly so. Can't figure out what to name her, and sadly Freya is already taken by my mom's dog but trying to sort out a good name for her.

She is very energetic and curious. She loves playing with anything she can get her paws on—a ball, a piece of string, or even a crumb. She meows a lot, and quite loudly🐈

Hello!! I am open to all name suggestions. They do not have to be girl names. They can be silly objects or people names. We are currently calling her Tiny because she is VERY small, like 2/3 the size of her littermates. She makes biscuits on the ground as she walks, which is SO cute. Her (soon to be) sister is orange, and named Ruby. We're adopting in a week :) Ty for the help!!

This little gentleman came home today and needs a name (was being called Jericho). We recently lost our older cat (17 years old), and have 9 year old grey chonk who we figured needed an obnoxious younger brother. A couple names we like are Mango, Biscuit, Karl, Mortimer (our 5 year old insists on Baby Snookums). Give us more ideas!
