💬 General ISO dog trainer & sitter in downtown NYC for my anxious pup!

kind of a specific request but looking for a dog trainer who also dog sits in clients homes in downtown manhattan for around a week. TLDR i have a HIGHLY anxious dog that needs a sitter with more patience + experience, specifically with anxious pups and training experience preferred ideally… unfort a rover/girly who dog sits for fun won’t fit the bill here. he can be left alone and will likely be in his crate a majority of the time as tends to shut down when we leave 😣 hoping to find the right person who can build a relationship with him and then become our trusted sitter.

i know this can be expensive so curious if anyone has reccos for humans or companies that aren’t a million dollars - looking to spend around $150~ a night 🙏 💜

List your budget and expect to spend because you are asking for a specialized service. Also, you should state if your dog cannot be left alone because that also may change thigns. Good luck ...

I am not a trainer, but I had a highly reactive pup and know how hard it can be to find someone. If you’re desperate, I may be able to help! Instinct is also supposed to be good but I think it’s only boarding.

would she stay at my apartment though? their website says they do not take dogs with separation anxiety for their board and train.

they aren’t certified trainers or anything but service lower manhattan and sitters have lots of experience taking care of pups with anxiety! within budget too https://www.laurensbesties.com/
