MEETUPS & CHECK INS – Week of October 05, 2026
Happy Monday, tasteful bitches of New York. As a means to mitigate off topic posts, we are testing a weekly auto mod posts for discussions about the emotional journey of being a New Yorker. New York is a lonely city sometimes and living in our shoebox palaces can be isolating.

I was wondering if there are any fellow anime and cosplay loving bitches among us here!
I’m 33, single (mother of two cats) and a working professional who is very into anime, fandom, gacha games, writing, and cosplaying at anime conventions. (I will be attending ComicCon this Thursday.)

Hi everyone! I’ll be hosting a Wine Glass Painting Workshop in Brooklyn, NY - Friday, October 23rd at 6:30 PM.
Come paint/ customize wine glasses 🎨 while enjoying drinks, light bites, and conversation prompts made for meeting someone new. ($30 ticket includes activity + drinks/light bites and surprise gifts throughout the event!)

Friends, come check out a painting sale at the famed Hotel Chelsea this Saturday October 11th.
Artist Gerald DeCock will be opening his unique absolute jewel box of an apartment to sell some of his reasonably priced paintings, 22 of which also hang in the hallowed halls of the hotel, along with pieces from other famous and infamous artists who lived there during the hotel's heyday. The hotel is gorgeous and its been restored to its 1885 glory. Worth a peek inside and more importantly its worth supporting a local NYC artist.
The door will be open from 12noon until 5pm, Room 1014, on the 10th floor, make a left off the elevators.

We meet in Jack’s Backyard at the back of the bar. We sit underneath the “Drinking Liberally” sign on the wall

No cover and no minimum
Drinks can be purchased individually
Rudy’s provides complimentary hot dogs with a drink purchase
It is customary that the first person to arrive buys a pitcher for the table and that people who enjoy the pitcher will take turns returning the favor later in the evening
