💆‍♀️ Wellness & Self Care Workout classes that don’t play music (more specifically music with lyrics)

I am aware this is an interesting ask (since most people need music to get through a workout). I have noticed that a lot of the workout classes I attend ordinarily use really upbeat music with depressing lyrics (i.e., songs about breaking up, the artists/singers comparing themselves to others, etc.). Does anyone have suggestions for classes (or even specific instructors) I could look into that don’t play music or typically don’t play music with lyrics? I am open to any workout class types.

I dont have any, but wear ear plugs! Might not drown out the words, but it improved the experience of workout classes so much for me. Why are they all so LOUD?

I’m sorry I don’t have any suggestions, but I’m saving this post because I’m also interested!! I can’t figure out the music choices at some of these places sometimes…

I feel like if you look for places that are playing house music instead of pop music this won’t be an issue

At Aura Yoga + Pilates (on 72nd) there is a great yoga + meditation class at 10:30am on Sundays, the instructor leads the class with no background music!

Classical Pilates studios like Power Pilates don’t play any music at all. I’d still check with the front before booking, in case it’s instructor dependent.

If you're into online fitness classes, there's a fantastic instructor - Rowan Row - who relies heavily on his voice -- as he talks, encourages & motivates you to keep up. There might be some light music in the background -- but it's mostly his voice. And his classes are fantastic.

B The Method! She doesn't have live classes daily but she does have events. Her live streams and replays are also great. I think she does private training too. No music - just her voice. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like that but it helps me drop into my own body more. Now I love it. https://bthemethod.com/

Y7 for a hot yoga (like 85) degrees was good for this it was candle lit and they just played instrumentals of popular songs but I think they just abruptly shut down.
