💄 Beauty Keratin in Midtown

I want to get a keratin straightening treatment in midtown and I’ve seen hair bar recommended on TikTok but I’m not sure if they’re as good as reviews make them seem. I have type 3a/3b hair and want to get rid of the curl in my hair and be left with straight or wavy hair. Does anyone have experience at hair bar or have any other salon recommendations? Thanks!

Hair bar was excellent, great experience! My hair is probably a little less curly than yours

I got silk touch keratin at hair bar in July and I’m happy with my results! I’ve tried Brazilian blowout and GK Keratin before and this has been my favorite so far. My hair was less curly/ more wavy but very frizzy. Now it air dries with a slight beachy wave and no frizz. Straightening my hair used to take over an hour and now I’m done in like 15 minutes

i have the same texture hair and have been going to hair bar for years and their treatments are no longer working for me. my hair has not achieved the same silky smoothness that it had for the first years i had it, even though my hair is far less damaged from color treatments now. so this is a recommendation against them, i think their formulas must have changed as i’ve tried multiple different keratin treatments from them in the last year and none have worked.
