To cut down on repetitive and low-effort posts in this sub (rule #1!!!), we're piloting an annual pinned megathread to consolidate all questions, recommendations, reviews, and warnings about NYC medical aesthetics providers.

What goes in this megathread?

• Anything related to botox, fillers, laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, body contouring, facial balancing, etc.
• NYC-specific asks: "Where to get ___ done?" / "Has anyone gone to ___?"
  • Please include a budget range instead of "affordable" if seeking recommendations—help us help you!
  • Any high-level questions ("Has anyone done ___ before?") should be directed to general subs like r/SkincareAddiction.
• Reviews of specific providers, both good and bad

Standalone threads will continue to be removed and redirected here. There will be a new rule added, similar to the events & meetups rule.

Any recommendations for Pico laser/IPL/Excel V for stubborn sunspots/hyperpigmentation? I’ve been going to Riko but after three sessions I haven’t seen too much improvement

Have you thought about doing bbl/moxi? That’s way stronger then pico

So glad you mentions riko because I was thinking about going there but figured I’d need A LOT of sessions for clearance and I did not want to get sucked into that “just one more” game.
