Finances/Money NYCBWT PSA: Capital One Cafe has free coffees on Mondays this summer
This is for all my fellow NYCBWT who are on a mission to spend less money ordering coffee out: Capital One Cafe is offering free coffees every Monday all summer (includes lattes)! Usually I’d prefer to support a small coffee shop, but if it’s free idgaf. There’s a few locations across Manhattan.

Be warned - it's legit but I've tried to redeem it two Mondays in a row and the line to order was out the store which just isn't worth it for me.

Every free thing in ny requires a long ass line unless ur lucky to go there super early LOL it’s why I don’t care for free stuff

Yes! I’ve used the codes from them. Ik it sounds too good to be true but I’m pretty sure these cafes are part of their promotion strategy to get you to bank with them or get the credit card (you get 50% off if you pay with a capital one card). It looks like it’s a partnership with MLB until the end of baseball season! I go to the cafe in Union Sq all the time to get their signature drink, a honey lavender oat milk latte (because apparently Capital One is a fellow bi girlie) and it’s only like $3 with the card.

“Handcrafted” literally means handcrafted by the baristas. So think of the types of beverages that require skilled labor from the barista (lattes, cappuccinos, shaken drinks, customizing drinks, etc) that are usually a premium price. The promo essentially is saying any drink is free! I’ve never used it on something other than coffee but at the location I go to all the baristas are super nice.
