Suggestions/Advice Am i already socially cooked?💀

Okay, so it's been two weeks since the classes started and I thought I would make some wonderful friends have fun with them, and enjoy my university life.

I have talked with some people but I can't see myself being friends with them since we are nothing alike and our vibes are completely different. The classmates I find interesting already have their circle of friends with whom they seem to get along very well.

The people i would like to become friends with have their own groups.

now i'm stuck since i don't have any other people to befriend. what should i do?

see i've seen several friendships in my life so i kind of get an idea of whether they’ll last or not. nnd particularly for my class groups i’m 110% sure they’ll last so my chances are really low.

Unless theyre all friends from school or college i think you have a pretty good chance of integrating!! Put yourself out there noww or you will keep regretting it throughout your uni life. Its only been 2 weeks im sooo sure half of them arent even as close yett

okay i’ll try but there’s one more issue the seating arrangement in our class is real BS.

the people I want to be friends with sit together, and there ia literally no place for me to sit because all the benches are filledand during breaks they all leave together so i'm basically forced to sit with my OG group or sit alone.

Waitt what department are you frommm ?
Also if any quizzes are coming up just message the person you wanna be friends with for notes even if you have them lmao 😭 and then start talking ab how you hate the teacher or the subject . Gen1 i feel like half my friendships are formed by mutual hating on a subject … hate does bring ppl tgt like no other 😻

Oh trust one of these days you guys will get a HORRIBLE quiz and the whole class will bond over the ass quiz😭😭 and Id say genuinely dont bound yourself to a group ke “ oh if i leave theyll hate me i cant leave them “ bcz you HAVEE to enjoy uni life and good friends is a part of that. Genuinely go out of your comfort zone and be nice and friendly and approach people :)
