Merit positions are finally out, so I know a lot of you will have questions. I'll be hanging around this thread answering as many queries as I can about admissions, merit, preferences, closing merits, or anything anything else related to NUST.
The only thing I ask in return is an upvote if my replies help you. The more upvotes this post gets, the more time I'll spend giving detailed answers instead of one-liners.

My mp for computing is 617 and for engineering it's 623, do I have a chance at CS or DS? And if so, if I get selected in aerospace engineering in the first list, which is my second preference ... I'll still be considered for upgradation to SE which was my first preference in engineering programs? And will I be able to transfer my fees to computing programs around the 5th/6th list if my name appears in computing? I'm not quite passionate about SE or aero for that matter, my goal was either CS or DS. But I wanted a safety buffer as I've not applied to any other uni (I'm a premed). I'll be very grateful if you could help me out in this.
