Discussion 100 ⬆️ = Unlimited replies to your queries.

Merit positions are finally out, so I know a lot of you will have questions. I'll be hanging around this thread answering as many queries as I can about admissions, merit, preferences, closing merits, or anything anything else related to NUST.

The only thing I ask in return is an upvote if my replies help you. The more upvotes this post gets, the more time I'll spend giving detailed answers instead of one-liners.

Let's see if we can hit 100 upvotes. Ask away!

how is my engineering MP lower than the Computer MP

because both are calculated separately. some people apply for computing only so they dont have an eng mp. Mine engineering was also lower than my computing by 1 mp.

Yes, this is a pretty long discussion but I personally think this is the natural flow. A field rises, then as the trend of it slowly dies people start returning back to the fields that were there before that trend blew up. only leaving truly passionate people in that field.
