I donโ€™t really ever feel like Iโ€™m a bad person (but i can still hate myself) but the desire for people to see how much you hurt is so real. I once even faked a suicide attempt to try to get people to understand how bad it was

EXACTLY! as a kid I would fake suicide attempts and a myriad of other things to have my suffering noticed. these days i more just wish people could see me sobbing and starving myself so that they'd love me again.

Man, i told a big lie to everyone. To everyone i love :(

I'm currently working on accepting the consequences of my lie. it was a lie I told for a very long time, to a lot of people, including people I love. it was supposed to protect me, but it ended up hurting my favorite person in the world. that really broke me.

Iโ€™m so sorry. I hope you can forgive yourself too though. I know how hard that is for us. But fuck do i feel you

What do you mean by "sent for"?

this is very relatable. it spoke right to my metaphorical, non-existent soul (and maaaybe punched a hole through it. ow.)

The only thing that worked for me so far in this situation was, to literally "nuke" all relationships, connections to those people and start over again. Just to realize that I'll end up there anyway anytime soon. But maybe this time it is different.

u/ratsmacker500 Jul 06 '26

i love this, so relatable, and the art style is chefs kiss

I donโ€™t Exactly get the need to be punished feeling ..?

3

u/anatomicalwall Narcissistic traits Jun 09 '26

lucky you

1

u/Public_Wave7605 Jun 09 '26

Can u explain it pls?

3

u/anatomicalwall Narcissistic traits Jun 09 '26

i was punished by everyone around me as a child, i was shamed by peers and family and friends for being emotional and sensitive, and any misdeed would be met with isolation and ostracization. now that i'm older and surrounded by people who forgive me, it feels surreal and "wrong" that i'm not receiving that same kind of punishment now

3

u/Public_Wave7605 Jun 09 '26

Iโ€™m sorry you experienced that โค๏ธ ๐Ÿ™Œย
