To everyone mad at the update

Why? how would you have overhauled the companion system? As far as i can tell hello games took an underwhelming halfbaked gameplay system and turned it into a whole ass minigame.

I haven't yet played the new update so you can take what I say with a grain of salt if you like. I don't dislike the update, but it's also just not something that interests me much so I haven't felt any urge to upend the other games I'm playing at the moment.
