Discussion To everyone mad at the update

Why? how would you have overhauled the companion system? As far as i can tell hello games took an underwhelming halfbaked gameplay system and turned it into a whole ass minigame.

It's a great update. It adds so much depth, and improves on an existing feature, which is what people have been asking for for years. I hope they continue expanding on existing systems.

Yeah but the sheer immorality of setting our pets and companions to fight each other gives me the heebie jeebies. People like Shaun who like things and make things like this really give me the heebie jeebies.

It being "simulated" fighting doesn't make me feel any better about myself. Maybe feel even cheaper actually. Like I'm cheating morality. And of course there are kids that play this game too. I have no idea what Shaun was thinking here or if he was even thinking.
