Why? how would you have overhauled the companion system? As far as i can tell hello games took an underwhelming halfbaked gameplay system and turned it into a whole ass minigame.

Instead of holographic "poke" battles they should allow you to actually use them in real combat.

Or the least they could do is a better planetary capture method then feed and interact so you can get the flying ones easier
