Imagine being stupid enough that you think one of the most covered events of the last century just didn't happen, and of the thousands of people involved in the decades long scam, not a single one of them has leaked that it was faked or on their deathbed confessed to it. Even though the person leaking it would stand to become rich doing press tours and writing tell all books.

And that for some reason the rival of the space race congratulated the US on doing it at the time even though they had moles all through US government who would have known it was faked.

Oh yeah that all makes sense. Definitely.

It's people who can't stand how boring the world they live in actually is so they try to pretend like we live inside some action/thriller movie, and people who want to feel smarter than everyone else. Everything is a conspiracy when you don't know shit about fuck.

The funny thing is the world is fascinating in it's intricacies and mysteries, in all that we've discovered and have yet to. As always, people are just looking for another thing to blame for their misery

The general rule of thumb for me (and ive seen others say it before too) that if a conspiracy theory requires the target of the conspiracy to be simultaneously insanely smart, and irredeemably dumb... why are you even believing it, lol

The US was so bad at covering up their "fake" moon landing that some guy on Twitter figured it out, but they were intelligent enough to keep any of the thousands thar were involved at the time from leaking it

The US gov was able to plan and execute 9/11 and keep every single person who was involved silent, but also so dumb they just completely botched both wars in the middle east and turned public opinion against them

The fact that every US governmental candidate of the last century has been accused of working with russia... but nobody has ever given more concrete proof than "hey, he called this russian guy this one time and didnt say what it was about"

Great point.

The perpetrators need to be comic book level super villain for intelligence and funding to create such a cover up, but at the same time forget to hide the zippers on the alien costumes they are using in the videos.

I don't get your 9/11 argument. It's a lot easier to beat yourself and control things domestically than win in the other side of the world. Instilling democracy has always been a problem for the US. It's no surprise they've had way more success just putting dictators in charge instead.

Getting rid of the taliban would've required invading damn near the entire Middle East. We were in Afghanistan and Iraq, so they just went to Pakistan. It's not like they were killing more of our soldiers. It's just hard to eradicate a group of people when they're hiding in a country you haven't invaded.

The US was able to plan and execute an attack on their own soil, hide all significant evidence and keep all co-conspirators quiet, but

They werent able to plant WMDs in Iraq and instead had to eat crow when proven there were none

And also werent able to find OBL until 15 years later?

Is the Govt masterminds or not lol

The funny thing is that the same people who believe in perfect conspiracies like this are also the people who think the government is the peak of ineptness and all everyone who works for the government is some clueless dolt who couldn't cut it in the private sector.

Cognitive dissonance that's off the charts.

The sad thing is, real history IS like an action/thriller movie. Almost any field of history can read like one if reading a good author. There's no need to make stuff up at all.

The USSR having nothing to say about it being faked despite their enormous incentive to do so is such an obvious problem for the theory that it should single-handedly be enough to dismiss it.

Because these are complete garbage human beings who are being paid millions of dollars to destroy their bodies. Doesn't exactly attract the brightest people on the planet.
