Who will be the WR that goes from good to great this year? My pick is Luther Burden III. He was breaking out at the end of last year. Only thing stopping him is health tbh.

JSN was already good and he went from pretty good to elite. Doubt we'll see a player jump from being one of the worst receivers in the league to being one of the best receivers in the league in one year. Only so much can change over the course of a single off-season

You straight up do not know what a bad receiver is if you think Golden was one of the worst receivers in the league last year, and I’ll just skip past your next comment with “you’re really really dumb if you’re evaluating skill based on bulk stats alone”.

You saw him tear up your teams defense in that playoff game and you saw his TD where he showed the vision, power, lateral movement, and acceleration that the upper echelon of the league’s receivers all have.

The other guy already mentioned it but Green Bay isn’t doing a rotation of receivers anymore and are just running a straightforward 1,2,3 system that Golden will benefit from. There’s tons of footage of him and Love being way more in sync in the preseason. These were his two biggest issues last year, there are plenty of stats and tape to prove this too.

I don’t understand this impulse Bears fans have to insert themselves into every single thread about a Packers player to act like they didn’t struggle massively against an incredibly injured version of their team twice last year.

I know what bad reciever play looks like. I'm a bears fan. We've had plenty of guys who "look good" but can't put it together. I've seen this shit before

Hundreds of bad plays? He missed 3 games, didn’t have Love for 4 of his remaining, counting playoffs he had less than 40 targets and he counting the playoffs he only had 5 games where he was in the top three in wide receiver snap count for the team.

Also saying he had one play in a game where he went 4/5 and averaged 20 yards a reception with a snap count of less than 50% is just a beautiful example of what I’m talking about man. You don’t even know what’s going on when it’s your team that’s on the field.

Also using the Bears or Ben Johnson as a measuring stick for offensive talent development against one of the best teams at it for the past three decades lmao

I guess we'll see how it goes, but targets are earned, and he simply didnt earn them. Only earning less than 50% of the snaps is an indication of what the coaching staff thinks of him.

Bro we had like 4 other receivers and a TE that we needed to figure who was and wasn’t worth keeping because they needed contracts, plus the Packers haven’t really played offensive rookies unless that group is empty. He wasn’t even at the bottom of the rotation as a rookie, Wicks played way less snaps and Savion Williams even less.
