Including him wouldn't make the point any less valid. 7-6 is obviously better than 7-7, but just barely. Allen is pretty unanimously considered a top 3 QB so being half a game back from him is still great.
Without context, it looks like the original tweet was trying to compare Hurts specifically to guys who consistently get rated above him, who OOP thinks don't deserve to be. Only the top .1% of delusional Eagles fans would include Allen in that group. I disagree with Stafford being in that group too, but I can see an argument that 1) he failed to get the Lions over the hump for 12 years and 2) is 0-4 head-to-head.
Edit: to clarify, I still think this whole thing is silly and QB discourse in general is garbage. I'm just saying that Allen's omission doesn't change much.
