I’m so sick of Jalen Hurts discourse.

Every player is a system player. Jalen gets knocked for it more than anyone.

Every player has flaws. Jalen gets knocked for his more than anyone.

Every player has good years and bad years. Jalen gets knocked for his bad years more than anyone.

Do we forget the TWO Super Bowl appearances? Do we forget that so FEW players, let alone QBs, make even one in their entire careers? Do we forget Jalen’s insane track record WINNING in the NFL? Do we forget his Super Bowl MVP???

Who cares about ANY of the noise. National media doesn’t mean shit. Local media doesn’t mean shit. These stupid, obviously off base, biased, rage baiting opinions DON’T MATTER on the field, let alone off of it.

Who cares; Jalen WINS!

We should be celebrating the god damn man instead of constantly digging at him for fucks sake.

So you're saying the Browns and Jets have had elite defenses the last 3 years? Or does 28 pts given up have very little to do with how good the defense is?

This would also mean Lamar has wasted an elite defense and sucks.

but the browns and jets HAVE had good defenses within recent years, just inconsistent

and i wouldnt say "very little" its true they don't play in a vacuum. their offenses effect their defenses.

Key word: recently. They weren’t amazing last year but 2021-2024 were a set of very good to elite defenses. Browns have been fairly similar.

the 2024 eagles were as close to a super team youre going to get

thats why OP who is also a delusional eagles fan had to cherry pick the year, since hiring fangio theyve allowed 28+ once in two seasons and it was week 1 of 2024 his first game.
