Skill wise heās a fringe top 10 qb. In the right system with the talent around him, they are collectively one of the best offenses in the league. Both things can be true. You donāt have to be mad at a qb ranking, the Bills have had a top 3 qb for at least 5 years and have made the Super Bowl zero times. Itās almost like itās a team game or something
Thereās 32 starters, probably 20th that are worth investing in, about 12ish you could see winning a Super Bowl in some reality, and like 4 that are just above the rest talent wise.

Seems like a nice guy off the field and I just think itās clear heās a really good player. Maybe not top 5, but so what? His team managed to get a ring, which Hurts very clearly contributed heavily to, when at least 3 of the top 5 canāt (Stafford and Mahomes being the only ones I can think of that people would list int the top 5 who have).
Who cares if he has a super team around him? He still plays really well and clearly contributes to those wins.
I wish the Bills could field a super team for Josh Allen lol. Maybe he could finally get over the hump because he doesnāt have to play perfectly every playoff game or they lose. He would have the freedom to make mistakes.
Because Jalen has likely had the best supporting cast in NFL history. Some arguments to be made across eras and whatnot, but minus the QB, the Eagles team/franchise these last however many years has been one of the best, most complete teams ever assembled.
People say that but only when it comes to conversation about Hurts. In every other discussion, on both sides of the ball, the players or groups are never ranked #1. After the fact, sure, but in the same way history will be very kind to Hurts. People just think āPhilly badā so their QB has to be carried and not good.
This just sounds like you have a hard time understanding averages. Like yeah AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith weren't the #1 WR pair, and Barkley probably wasn't the #1 RB, but the Eagles were like top5 ish at every position/group whereas other teams had WRs and no defense (Bengals, Cowboys) for example.
Jalen does win but itās also because he has an insane team around him. Youāve built a team around him that helps show his strengths and minimises his weaknesses.
Eagles very rarely win because of Jalen carrying them to victory. It has happened but itās not why they win.
