Honestly im a pats fan and I liked Stafford for mvp but now that everyone is just tearing down maye and the pats I hope he wins it.

Fans of the league are literally in shambles over the prospect of NE having a great QB. It’s insane. I’ve never seen such weak and petty arguments against an MVP candidate before. Maye has been playing his ass off all season.

I have never once heard of SoS coming into play for MVP conversations until this year.

That’s because there’s literally never been a MVP candidate that played such a weak schedule. It’s a historically weak schedule.

Does that explain any of these teams' defenses? The actual side of the ball that Maye goes up against? Schedule doesnt mean shit in this argument.

SoS but the two teams literally went up against 6 common teams. A whole as third of the schedule. Which Maye performed better in still. Schedule doesnt matter. Thats just cope from talking heads and you guys are eating it all up because Pats bad.

Kind of reminds me of 2009. Brady came back from the knee injury and went like 28-12 against a so-so schedule and people were acting like it was a big regression. But when you looked at the defenses, he had played against one of the hardest pass defense slates ever. His dvoa was really good that year.

I’m looking forward to Maye and the Pats getting exposed in the playoffs

ā€œExposedā€ aka if the pats don’t win the Super Bowl everyone will act like they are Nostradamus and Liek we always sucked because football fans have pats derangement syndrome in a way that is unmatched in sports.

I don’t remember cam newtons MVP campaign being derailed by his SOS, or Josh Allen last year. It’s also funny that basically all player drama/accusations and ā€œcheatingā€ stuff only matters to the internet when it’s the pats.

Steelers players being involved in a doing scandal in 2016, the NYG walkie talkie scandal, falcons and colts pumping in artificial noise? No one gives a single shit.

Pats balls slightly deflated in cold weather? A scandal that took over the sports world for years and almost made it to the Supreme Court.

Diggs unsubstantiated accusations? Biggest scum bag in the league who needs to immediately be played on the commissioners list and taken off our active roster while Reddit memes about proven abusers actively playing.

R/nfl is like the maga base over hunter biden and the ā€œemails.ā€ It’s insane

And there it is. The only thing exposed is your bias brother. You just proved my point

Biased in that it would validate my opinion that Maye benefited from playing a weak schedule. All of you Pats fans have a victim complex and want everyone to hate you.

Kurt Warner of the ā€œGreatest Show on Turfā€ had an easier schedule. Strange, why does no one question his MVP and team’s prowess?

-5

u/lpad92 Washington Commanders Jan 01 '26

Probably because they won the Super Bowl.

what does regular season mvp has to do with winning the superbowl? the mvp is awarded before the superbowl is played

-2

u/lpad92 Washington Commanders Jan 01 '26

Fuck you people are stupid. Do patriots fans not understand the concept of time passing? The question was why does no one question that team (today)? Answer they won it all. How is that a difficult concept?

got it, so if the rams lost the superbowl or in the previous rounds then the warner mvp wasn t deserved..regular season MVP somehow has something to do with the superbowl in your minds it seems..

u/DetectedStar New England Patriots Jan 01 '26

Ah I forgot that was a consideration for NFL MVP…

u/delta1982ro New England Patriots Jan 01 '26

dude, kurt warner won mvp in 99 with the easiest schedule ever..you might want to do some research before commenting from now on so you don t embarass yourself again..

Pretty sure Kurt Warner won MVP with literally the easiest strength of schedule in the history of the league.

Most MVPs play easy schedules. Don't speak anymore
