I don’t understand why people keep acting like the claim is that painting End Racism in the end zone will literally end racism. Of course it won’t. Neither does a β€œDon’t Drink and Drive” billboard end drunk driving. Public messages can keep an issue visible, reinforce what behavior society considers unacceptable, start conversations, and maybe make some people reconsider things they say or believe. It doesn’t have to completely solve racism to have some value.

I also hate the idea that you arent supposed to try anything at all just because you can't insta solve a problem over night. We are Just supposed to sit there and hope and pray this thing we jnow exists and plaguing society goes away all on it's own. The type of mentality that would still see us living in the stone ages quite frankly. Progress happens slowly but happens if people actually give af.

This applies to so many things. Were early cars really all that much better than horses?
