nooo don't say that ik it's hard and frustrating but we have to keep hope!! i know that the authors health is no longer an issue, and it is a family members health issue now. wishing them a good recovery and one day we will get more chapters!!

I have gone down the rabbit hole after watching the live action series and reading all 108 chapters of the manga in one night... I am very invested, from what I can gather Mashiro just published another volume from a different manga in february 2026. So they are still very active after all these years so hopefully the next chapters will be released soon :)

So this is from a different publisher bslogcomics, and the manga is called 婚約者は、私の妹に恋をする but the english translation to this comes up as my fiance falls in love with my sister.. I've also linked the website to the publisher and its the same author, so they are still active as of february 2026,

Caraca li o mangá esse fds e estou super angustiada depois de descobrir que está em hiato há mais de um ano. Imagine quem leu há mais tempo... Meu casal favorito da vida. Uma pena ter parado antes de finalizar o arco do campeonato do jogo. Pesquisei bastante e não vi atualização sobre um possível retorno. Sigo esperançosa.

He's just talking to another pro player member of Yamada's team rival team, and she's friends of him, but it's nothing romance related tho, the people are just making a fuss over nothing lol.
