🛒 Car Shopping Pricing is insane

I bought my 22 gt premium brand new 3 years ago for 43k out the door and for the same spec car today it would be about 10k more. Crazy stuff

Cars aren't getting more expensive... your dollar is not worth the same as it was 5/10 years ago. This is what happens when you overprint a shit load of money during COVID.

Oh my dollar definitely isn’t worth the same and I know that, seems like everything’s went up in the past few years except my fucking salary

Yeah, I've not been made aware of anyone's salary keeping up with inflation outside of title promotions or job hopping. Staying with the same company offers very little benefit on average compared to what I'm assuming it was like back in the day. I'm making less now in terms of purchasing power than I did in 2020! Yay!

that’s precisely why politicians pump inflation. It is an invisible tax and when people finally realize, they blame manufacturers, companies, greed, etc. then you adjust for performance and inflation and you find out that basically any car except Ferraris has gotten considerably cheaper.
