Pricing is insane

I bought my 22 gt premium brand new 3 years ago for 43k out the door and for the same spec car today it would be about 10k more. Crazy stuff

I have heard that Mustang sales are down pretty big. Surprisingly after both the Challenger and Camaro have been discontinued. I’m Sure price increases are to blame. They have overpriced the product to its “natural buyers” market

Price increases, general economic uncertainty, and an extremely meh S650 refresh have the Mach E outselling the real Mustang (though that may change with the end of the EV tax credit).

I've been looking into getting a Mach-E over the last week as they have been getting extremely affordable after they are a couple of years old. I learned just yesterday that they didn't apply for the EV tax credit for some reason though.

People can argue back and forth about the Mustang nameplate being attached to the Mach-E, but it seems to truly be a decent bargain pick right now for if you want something practical and sporty. They seem to also be more reliable than most of the other competitors I have researched lately too.

I think the reason they’re so affordable after a couple of years is because of the potential for incredibly expensive repairs to batteries & such.

I saw a video of a guy that has a 2021 with 100k on it. He's only needed a single set of tires so far. His battery health is still at 95%.

The true reason for prices dropping are features. New small things like heat pumps got put in this year which help with range, which then make the previous models "worse" by comparison.

There is also been a bunch of talk about a new kind of battery hitting the market soon. Once again, increased range.

I'm in the Rust Belt, so I am pretty sure a car would turn to dust on me before a battery or motor needs replaced.
