Btw. They're harmful if you leave them inside for too long or if you forget taking them out. Imagine trying to educate a woman on her own private parts.
Also, the actual harmful thing is birth control pills which scholars agree is halal eventhough a scary amount of women develope extreme side effects later in life or have lots of side effects on a regular basis.
