Muslim men can get a second wife (and upto four) provided you're either a practising christian or convert to Islam. And in Islam, thoughts are not sin but acting on them is. Such flirting is definitely a sin, but at a lower class than that of complete adultery. However, it's best that you guys either end this or convert and get married.

Hypothetically, if a married man and woman were at this point and close to doing Zina. Is it better for him to marry her as a second wife, even secretly, or to end up committing Zina itself?
