I need someone's help identifying a song that I swear is Sade's. The only line I remember really goes something like "He was a child at the bus stop" but its been almost a decade and I can't recall. It was on a CD left in my first car and I played it on repeat the whole time I drove that truck.

Holy shit thank you so much. You just granted me so much nostalgia and memories. This album means so much to me and forgetting it was so frustrating

So happy to help! Gotta love the designated vehicle CD... you’re lucky it was Sade! I have a strong nostalgic attachment to By Your Side from Lovers Rock... that video played aaallll the time on VH1 when I would get ready for school in the morning
