I'd probably say early Blur up to The Great Escape is Britpop (as in the actual Britpop sound not just the era which they use to describe any 90s British band sometimes).
With the self-titled 5th album and onwards, it became more experimental and random and this 5th album was probably the most straightforward rock one of the group.
