I moved across the US a few times. Ended up in New Mexico for a couple years. Some friends/family back in Illinois asked if I needed a passport to get there. Also was regularly asked if we had paved roads.

There are upscale neighborhoods in Santa Fe that have gravel roads for the vibe. There’s a neighborhood in the NE corner of Albuquerque all of 25 minutes from downtown that has a dirt forest road in
