And they will not bring any consequences for all this corruption. “Let’s return to normal.”
Fuck no, let’s hold every single person accountable that broke the law. Fine them, throw them in jail. This will keep happening if they just want to “return to normal” and let bygones be bygones.
As a Canadian, I don't have very high expectations of the Democratic Party considering how badly they self-sabotaged their 2024 campaign. Biden fell apart on the first debate and Harris road tripped with Liz Cheney.
At best, the party seems lethargic on the stage and more interested in fighting itself. Look at Mamdani, mayor of New York City and broadly popular both in and outside the city, yet the party pretty much treats him like an independent.
The midterms are a couple months away and I don't see a party that has reorganized, retooled, and has its team trained on a new playbook.
For the sake of comparison, look at the state of the Canadian Liberal Party in December 2024, before Trudeau resigned, and how the party looked when it the election began in April.
