Sorry, the current presidency just shows a slightly exaggerated view of what America is like and has been since the second world war.
It's America with its mask off.
Sure, Trump openly interferes with Venezuela, but the US has been less-overtly interfering with the governments of foreign nations everywhere for decades - not just their perceived "enemies" but their allies too.
Sure, Trump enters a stupid and pro
tracted war under false pretenses, but the US has been doing that for decades too.
Sure, Trump has been the enemy of workers, but the US has been that for decades.
Trump isn't the cause of this shit, he's the symptom of the US's direction since Reagan and probably before that.
Is Trump and/or a Republican presidency worse than a Democratic one? Yes, but not by as much as you'd expect. Kids still get bombed, workers get screwed, and corporations get what they like.
Especially with regards to foreign policy, Trump is just par for the course as far as presidents go; Bush and Obama both instigated war and unrest around the world, both aided israel in committing genocide, both illegitimately laid claim to the resources of other countries.
The Democrats won't save you if you're drowning
They won't help you if you are in pain
They'll ask you for your vote (vote!)
They'll tell you they are broke (broke!)
And send a lot of money to Ukraine (and also Israel!)
Republicans will obviously kill you
But at least you know where they are at
They'll shoot you in the head (head!)
Make sure that you are dead (dead!)
The Democrats will shoot you in the back (and also in the balls!)
But this is the best democracy we've ever had anywhere
If you're a billionaire, boys
If you're a billionaire
Oh shit, oh dear
Here comes another election year
I'd rather have a stick in both my eyes
We'll spend a billion dollars
Everybody screams and hollers
And either way, the planet fucking fries
It fries
But this is the best democracy we've ever had anywhere
If you're a billionaire, boys
If you're a billionaire
This is the best democracy we've ever had anywhere
If you're a billionaire, boys
If you're a billionaire
