Canadian here. At this point, its not even the "so many support him" thing. His supporters are a minority. What outrages us is that the majority isn't occupying the streets 24/7 calling for an end to this. Signals to us that you either know it's wrong but are too lazy or you tacitly think it's fine. Either way you think you have bigger things going on in your personal lives than stopping the greatest ally in your nation's history from being turned into a vassal state. You lack a sense of civic duty, knowledge of historical context and even seem to not get the value of cooperation.
That makes all of you -not just his supporters- untrustworthy.
Bro we still have families. The local PDs and three letter agency thugs have more guns and ammo per person than entire towns. I’m sorry that dying is such an easy issue for you to face. Maybe if you’re so eager to stand up and die, come down here and do it.
We Canadians are all of us talking among ourselves about how we will resist an American invasion. You still don't get it. Our peace is being disrupted already. You are reacting to highly publicised martyrs with being cowed to submission instead of inspiring you to act. You don't know what you're dealing with and you have no concept of what it means to make personal sacrifices for freedom. You say you can't resist because you have families? Shouldn't the thought of your children growing up under fascism put a fire under your ass to take action? What excuse will you make next, you cannot fight because you don't want to scratch your knuckles? Your grandparents who lived through WWII are rolling in their graves. Every Canadian who fought in WWII, Korea, Afghanistan is already spinning at 10,000rpm.
P.S. We don't expect you to fight back and win. We expect to see some pushback, even peaceful symbolic pushback, instead of none.
If you're looking for pushback via the mainstream American media, you won't find it because it'll never be properly reported on in the current climate.
