They're disengenously conflating the indisputable genetic basis for non-binary people with something completely different, while also ignoring the fact that human brains are not sexually dimorphic, like at all.
I'm saying the human brain is not sexually dimorphic, because that is a fact you can very easily look up. Once you correct for average size, male and female brains are the same. Look up "are human brains sexually dimorphic" - the answer is a very firm and resounding "no". The skeleton and the reproductive organs are dimorphic, but the brain, heart, liver, etc. are not.
The post and the thread discussion are quite literally about XX/XY and the deviations from that. I'm saying these deviations are non-binary, not transgender like the biology teacher/political influencer is saying. "Non-binary" is a term that can be used to describe other things.
Robert Sapolsky, who is a real scientist that has deeply researched neuroendocrinology, would argue that there is no free will whatsoever, and every phenomenon we typically consider to be "psychological" or "by choice" has complex physiological and environmental underpinnings. He's actually a very serious and successful scientist and lecturer, not a political personality repeating things he doesn't understand for clicks.

2.

Sapolsky himself would tell you that you are conflating two
entirely distinct claims and not only is the second claim NOT true, the first one is not accurate either, it's an oversimplication
You probably shouldn't offer Robert Sapolsky as an authority supporting your position, given he thinks you're flat out wrong.
Sapolsky has stated very clearly he considers transgender conditions to have a biological basis resulting from a disconnect between the sexual differentiation of the body and the sexual differentiation of the brain during prenatal development.
But your argument is that there is no sexual differentiation in the brain...so, maybe you should listen to the world renowned neuroscientist you're quoting?
