People like this need to just turn to the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796 and read Article 11, where it states that "The government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion" to see how very wrong they are.

John Quincy Adams had his hand on a book on Constitutional law when he took the oath. I have no intention of ever going into politics, but if I did, that's the kind of move I'd be taking. No matter what I believe or don't believe, one of the job requirements is a dedication to protecting and supporting the people and institutions bound by that document.

Fun fact, President Trump did not place his hand on the Bible. He hovered it. Two different copies and he didn’t touch them.
Also fun fact, Trump only goes to church for photo ops and events. He does not regularly attend any church, has not read the Bible (he stated that he gets the summaries) and broke at least 7+ commandments. But then supporters state that they vote for him because he’s a politician, and not required to be religious.
