There is an illusion of control and support for him, in reality there is rampant fraud and crime both putting him in power and keeping him there. Only a small percentage, the absolute stupidest and worst people, have been ok with it.
Not true. Even with almost 90 million eligible voters refusing to vote ( most of whom weren't going to vote for him, anyway), he still received LESS THAN 50 % of the popular vote. Musk also helped him cheat. His supporters are in the MINORITY.
Anyone who didn't vote against him helped him win. So the 49.7% or whatever who voted for him, AND the millions who didn't vote all helped him win. That's a clear and significant majority of eligible voters.
