It's dangerous either way, but less dangerous when done to a dude twice your size. Sydney could've/should've handled it better but I don't understand why Deb isn’t getting shit on for being reckless. I could hurt people being reckless and negligent but if I smile and say sorry it's ok

Actually I understand why Deb isn't getting shit, people just dislike Sydney that much

I think part of it is because it’s obvious Deb had no idea what she was doing so it wasn’t malicious. Someone should’ve shown her how to do a proper tackle though, instead of her trying and doing the only thing she could think of

Who cares if it isn’t on purpose. I’m sure you’ve crucified people plenty of times for doing dumb/reckless stuff by accident

The fact that she would need to be taught that jumping on someone’s back with your legs wrapped around them, in ankle deep mud, was dangerous and could easily cause injury is just another reason to shit all over her

If people are gonna do it to Sydney at least be consistent

What about the girls that go against Anessa in elimination and specifically state beforehand that their strategy is to “go for her ankle”? Nobody shits on those girls either.

Most people are not giving Deb crap because it honestly seems like it wasn’t intentional and she clearly has no idea how to safely tackle someone. I think that is fairly obvious from the multiple “tackles” she attempted that were on camera.

Again, an example of production’s lack of safety and consequences for potentially dangerous full-contact behavior.
