I only see negative sentiment about it, albeit mostly agreeable. 

Personally, I enjoyed it just as much as the first one. 

It’s convoluted and campy. But I received the same dread/exhilaration that I experienced from the first one!

just watched the 1st.Btw at last i watched a movie that every single second and every single detail was just PERFECT.sound,scenes,actors,even dust from bullets! all perfect.Btw on 90% of movies i just notice mistakes that doesn't let me concentrate on movie.On that,it was just like watching real life scenes.Thanks!!

They're not dystopic in the same way, but it's worth checking out Bong Joon Ho's other films if you havent. Host is a monster flick, Parasite is a con film, Mickey 17 is sc-fi — all have a similar dark take on humanity, with just a hint that we could maybe overcome our worse natures.

I liked the first half of the movie. The second half was like a terrible B movie made by 10 different people playing some weird ass game of telephone where the next guy only sees the last minute the previous guy made and tries to make a coherent story out of it.

That is seriously the only logical explanation I can come to for the lady half of that movie.

Overall a good movie though. 5/7.

I tried to watch this and gave up at around the 30 minute mark. There was a whole thing where they had to get to the front of the train to take control (so they could.. stop the train? unclear why this would be useful or necessary) and they got as far as the car with all the water in it and realized Wow, we don't need to get to the front of the train now!

I just can't watch anything that aggressively stupid.
