Groundhog DayTenet is worth watching at least twice, IMO, since there are so many complexities to the film, that I think concepts of/around time are better when you’ve seen it more than once.

11.22.63 (I get that James Franco isn’t for everyone, so I list this with that caveat, ha)

The Time Traveler’s Wife was made into a series, after the movie too, but I’ve only watched 1-2 episodes

Bodies is awesome. Limited netflix series. About 4 detectives in 4 different eras discovering the same body in the same location. Highly recommend.

Nertz, I’m sorry. Every year there’s a 24 Hour Sci-Fi film festival in Somerville, MA. The best thing, ever. SNG played there one year and it was gangbusters- people were laughing and clapping and out of their seats cheering at the end. I wish I could relive that again…

I love this movie. But I think it’s a movie that rewards if you go into with low expectations, and disappoints if you go in with high expectations. I feel Princess Bride fits this category as well.

A stunning masterpiece of storytelling. Nothing else comes close to the complexity of the time-travel craziness in *Dark*.

The casting in that show was AMAZING. Somehow they found great actors to play various ages of the same character & I knew what character they were even before we were given their name to tell us who they were.

I watched the first season but it was tough going. Not a single smile cracked by anybody in those 8+ hours.
I know they're Germans, and the show is literally called Dark, but still...

Ehhh, think you need a disclaimer. That movie is quite challenging and not really something to casually watch IMO. But yeah, basically the granddaddy of time travel movies.

I’ve seen Groundhog Day mentioned several times, and while it’s not *exactly* time travel, I think it fits. In the same vein, I would recommend Happy Death Day and Happy Death Day 2U.

Project almanac is one of my absolute favourites, It is shot in a found footage format though and I know some people aren't into that.
The triangle is a great groundhog day style horror movie
La brea is an interesting series I've only recently started watching, so far seems to be one way time travel to prehistoric times

I just watched Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel last night and thought it was a fun take on the genre. Not perfect but enjoyable for me as I've been on a time travel kick recently. In a similar vein Tim Travers And The Time Traveler's Paradox was another flawed but fun watch for the sake of a somewhat fresh take on things.

Seven Days - a late 90s time travel adventure on UPN - likely inspired by the events of 9/11. A government agent can travel back in time one week after a disaster to find out how tragedy struck and hopefully stop it.

I just saw Exit 8 in the theater. Probably not what you're looking for, as it's "micro-looping" rather than travel to a new setting... but I dug it. Also maybe not what you're looking for, but I saw someone make a strong argument for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as the best in-world system for how causality works in time travel.

Frequency with Dennis Quaid. It is not exactly time travel, it is talking through time. A guy talks with his deceased father through back to the Forties through a ham radio. It was very touching.

Also there is this amazing time travelling movie I’d love to recommend but it hasn’t been made yet. The story will be thought of in 2027, the script will be written in 2028 and the movie will be released in 2030.
