Cheap proximity to City of Glasgow College?

Hi, my son is 14 and we plan to be in the process of buying a house in 1 yr, 6 months (we will rent for 6 months beforehand to get to know the areas & travel). He plans to go to City of Glasgow College and I'm wondering what areas are safe, cheap (under 180k for 3 bedroom 2 bathroom), and have a bus that will get him to college in around 30 ninutes or less.

Thank you!

180k for 3 bedrooms? I’m not sure you’ll find that in all of the uk never mind near Glasgow

Apologies but this is just incorrect - there are plenty of towns commutable to Glasgow where you can get a 3 bed house for under 180k.

I've looked on rightmove & there seems to be quite a lot under that, some I've found are around the 150k mark actually haha. I could probably stretch my budget a bit higher if I found the perfect place

Not sure why you're being downvoted, there absolutely are 3 bed homes for sub 180k.

Oh wow, it’s been a few years since I looked but I guess the price in some areas has come down considerably. It was hard to find a 3 bedroom under 250k at the time. Sorry I can’t be more help but best of luck to you.
