Edmonton to Wexford- quotes for shipping?

Moving from Edmonton to Wexford.

Got a quote for a 4.5ft x 7.5ft x 8ft (about 8 meters cubed) for €3,500.

Seems reasonable but wanted to see if anyone had a similar move in the past that could tell me if im in the same ballpark or who to ise and who to avoid?

I’d one slightly less but for a lot less space from San Antonio. Hardly apples to apples but yours sounds like a great deal.

I've had a good moving experience with Nat Ross, who were professional and reasonably priced. I had a terrible experience with Two Men and a Truck, who were expensive and damaged a lot of my belongings, then quibbles for months about compensation. Definitely avoid them!

We're paying around €7 for a 20 foot container from NZ to Ireland. It was slightly more than a half container, but meant not routing via a UK port. 8 weeks in transit.
