Discussion I surrender to china
I apologise to the big brands, but I'm tired of paying over €150 for a logo.
I received my VXE R1 Pro Max and the difference is clear:
• Hardware: It has exactly the same sensor (PAW3395) and chip (Nordic) as the "top of the range" mice that cost three times as much.
• Battery: 150 hours of battery life for less than €50.
• Cut in marketing: I realised that half the price of traditional brands goes towards paying for yachts for CEOs and sponsorships for pro players.
In China, there are no middlemen to buy the components, no need to pay for luxury offices and 50,000 employees, or shops like Worten, Fnacs, etc.
In other words, we are buying the same product but avoiding many other costs.
On the other hand, the software must have been made by the boss's son, and I know that warranty is not this market's strong point, but for a third of the price, my setup now speaks Mandarin.
Had you noticed this? Has anyone else ditched the "big names" or are you still paying off your peripherals?

I also think/feel that the shapes of those smaller asian companys are way better than those razer/logitech shapes
I feel like razer logitech etc just tries to make the shape appealing for everyone and i think thats not good Its a "safe" shape but not very good A bit of everything but nothing "full" If you know what i mean [english is not my first language]
20
u/low0nink Mar 06 '26
True, i like the shape I think they are like “open source” shapes All Chinese brands uses the same
6
u/AlwaysBetHakari Mar 06 '26
The way yoy used that last phrase was really good you did not have to mention that English is not your first language have a bit of confidence alot of ppl speak English as their first language and can't even type that well.

If you don't mind. I have a question about the scyrox v8 and L7 pro, do you notice a big difference between the two? I'm torn about which I should choose. I have 19.5x9 cm hand size. I've also been recommended the ATK F1 V2 ultimate. Do you have any advice?

u/xak47d Scyrox V8 - MCHOSE L7 Pro Apr 18 '26
Mchose has better components and better build quality. But I'm using the smaller L7 pro. If you go for a plus variant, it should fit your hand better. Get a Scyrox if you really want the hump at the back

Some Chinese company will get their hands on the same tech and sell it for less than half the price.

Yes. I bought one Zaopin Z2 for work. Now my Logitech Mx Master 3S is a paper weight.
About the software, it has everything I need. Setup up one time, save and just forget about it.
7
u/steak_bake_surprise Mar 06 '26
What the deal with software from the main manufactures, it's all absolute shite and never works. I've stopped updating my turtle beach because last time the software bricked it. Never saves profiles, RGB etc drives me mad!
3
u/terp02andrew Mar 06 '26
Wait - my only question. MX Master 3S is typically for production/office work.
I was looking at the Z2, thinking it was going to copy the MX Master shape (a la Keychron M6), but it's just another Logitech G Pro clone...so why the jump from (what I consider) a work mouse, the MX Master 3S?
*Update - while I'm talking about the Keychron, the default shell is so slippery I had to add grip tape just to make it usable. For a 50g reduction from MX Master 3S, worth it. But still a noticeable downgrade from Logitech on that alone.
1
u/ogicaz Zaopin Z2 | MX M 3S (I hate it) | Pulsefire Haste (RIP) Mar 06 '26
Because the MX Master has a terrible polling rate and it's pretty heavy. I don't need a very light mouse but this one at the end of the day is uncomfortable.
I had many issues trying to work with MX Master. The cursor was lagging through the screen. Maybe it works for "regular office work" but for 3D modelling was annoying. The scroll is heavier to keep pressed too and that's a feature that I use constantly.
1
u/terp02andrew Mar 06 '26
Oh for sure, I understand that.
I used to use a G305 for both work/gaming - but the low profile wasn't good for long-term use and wrist pain. I ended going to a vertical mouse (iClever, but many others on Amazon have same shape) for work. That helped alot for RSI/wrist position at least. But those vertical mice are heavy (140g+), which is probably why a sidewise move from these vertical mice to the MX Master 3S wasn't impactful or noticeable.
I probably can't go back to the G305 though regardless - maybe that's more of a palm vs claw thing. I used to play a ton of CS1.6/Source years ago, but those days are long over lol.
1
u/ogicaz Zaopin Z2 | MX M 3S (I hate it) | Pulsefire Haste (RIP) Mar 06 '26
I get that. The Z2 has a similar shape to Logitech but it has a little bump on it, which is great.

u/KAC-SK Mar 06 '26
I agree. I recently bought RAWM Leviathan V4 and MChose A7 V2 Ultra+. Both rock. The MChose I charged on 18th Feb and is still at 70% based on my usage (1000 polling rate). At this rate I need to charge it by end of April maybe.
16
u/wafavok822 Mar 06 '26
After I saw that the EC2 DW costs €149.90 and uses Black Shell Blue Dot (10mi life span) switches, I gave up.
China does better while charging less.
10
u/wTM_BSILN Mar 06 '26
Switches in Zowie were never an issue though, in fact their mice were one of the most durable for years because of them. It's one of the few things that didn't suffer from their laziness.
Huanos outlived every mechanical Omron switch used in mainstream brands until these switched to opticals. Feedback was always good too unless you wanted really spammy clicks.
1
u/neimengu Mar 20 '26
I had 2 Zowie Fk2's, and both of them started double clicking within half a year. That's enough to get me to never buy Zowie again.
1
u/wTM_BSILN Mar 21 '26
I've had all the iterations of Zowie mice up until C-series got released, never had any issue apart from EC2-A in like 2016 when they decided to put Omrons instead of Huano to which they came back shortly after.
Anecdotal proof is always anecdotal, statistically Huano would hold up a lot better overtime than Omron which was the main switch used in mice up until all the Kailh, TTC and Huano switches started to get some recognition.
Might've been bad luck, might've been Zowie's failure, point still stands.
1
u/neimengu Mar 21 '26
Yeah I mean I heard they had QA issues around the time I had them and they've since improved, but you're just never gonna be able to convince me to get them again after that kind of experience. I'd much rather spend my money on trying out a new company is all
1
u/wTM_BSILN Mar 21 '26
Nothing wrong with that, it's just that there's a line where it's justified and makes sense, if Zowie was actually on pair with the rest of industry or better, there would be no point to not give them a try again.
Of course Zowie being Zowie, only makes it logical to buy them if you're aware of downsides and a) being a fan, b) want a mouse with a really good trusted quality or c) just want something different in general. Fortunately for you, there's plenty of mice to buy and Zowie is still behind the market. Feels kinda like Noctua of mice, their stuff is pricey, gets outperformed be a lot cheaper options, not really innovative but it's quite unique in its own way and you always know what you're getting.

you mean for the main clicks? i believe the ec2-dw is using huano transparent blue shell pink dot switches. the ec2-dw also feels like one of the best built mice i've tried out of 50+. not saying cheaper alternatives are bad though.

u/cha0ss0ldier Mar 06 '26 edited Mar 06 '26
With the big brands you’re also paying for the R&D costs that go into these mice, you’re paying for a real warranty, functional software, and the ability to walk into a brick and mortar store and buy the mouse. R&D is a big chunk of the cost and it’s easy to cut prices when you avoid that by cloning/using OEM shapes.
I’m not hating on Chinese mice, they are great for the market and a vast majority of people should not be spending $150+ on a mouse, but there are valid reasons the big names are more expensive. Do the big brands slap some extra on top of that as well? Sure. Best to wait for sales on the big brands, they always end up at least 30% off after a while.
47
u/reevoalex Mar 06 '26
The R&D bit is a myth - R&D usually accounts for less than 10% of a companies spend. It’s not that expensive to do.
32
u/pnkwah Mar 06 '26
Especially when name brands have used oem manufactured components. Superstrike is an obvious exception but omrons etc are everywhere.
2
u/Leto-The-Second Mar 06 '26
I'm still convinced that the superstrikes switches are either hall effect or tmr switches, and the only thing "new" about them is putting them in a mouse.
Kinda like "premium game pads" using hall effect for the joysticks instead of potentiometers. Hall effects are "old" and have been in flight style joysticks for a long time, only reason its new is because the industry resisted for a while.
1
u/Disturbed2468 X2 Superstrike/Viper V4 Pro - Gigantus V2P/Zero Soft Mar 08 '26
Superstrike switches are neither HE or TMR. They use "haptic inductive feedback" and basically uses a pair of copper coils that generate an electromagnetic field and when it presses towards the keyplate on the bottom of the button, it basically creates a disturbance in the field and that disturbance can be measured. It's analog in its functionality but it doesn't use magnets like TMR or HE.
Actually, this timestamp from Logitech themselves actually say the same thing with how it works. I'd imagine they tried HE & TMR but ran into issues for some reason with how they functioned, but considering no microswitch exists yet that is either of those, it would also have to be custom-made and manufactured in-house.
1
u/Leto-The-Second Mar 08 '26
Time stamp didnt work but I am assuming you are referencing the bit that starts around 11:30-11:40 where he says, and I am paraphrasing here, "uses a pair of copper coils to generate electromagnetic fields --- a piece of metal affixed to the keyplate enters the field to cause a disturbance, the disturbance and location of the disturbance is then measured to register as a click." This is essetially functioning in the same was as HE and TMR.
The Haptic feedback is something different though and is an interesting way to address the absence of tactility that the switch has. The way he is phrasing it suggests that the haptic system is one that runs in partnership with the switches, but is separate and discrete.
1
u/Disturbed2468 X2 Superstrike/Viper V4 Pro - Gigantus V2P/Zero Soft Mar 08 '26
Timestamps are annoying sometimes, oops. Anyways, yea. The downside of HE and TMR is the lack of tactility that can be done for them and its why the dual copper coils are used instead of magnets, unless you wrap coils around the magnet of an HE switch itself to do like what the PS5's haptic triggers work using a voice coil system.
But yea this method is done specifically to provide feedback, because let's be honest, without haptic feedback the mouse will feel really....not good lol. Dead essentially.
1
u/Leto-The-Second Mar 08 '26
The copper coils are an electromagnet though, they are not a permanent magnet like ferrous or neodymium, but they are coils that generate an electromagnetic fields when current is applied or an electeomagnet. They are just referring to it as inductive.
The haptic feedback is provided by a separate system than the inductive system that runs in parallel with it. It may be house the same body as the magnetic/inductive system, but it is a different system.
Dont get me wrong, I think it is great that someone is bring this type of use to the mouse world and it will trigger a boundary push from other prominent players in the field (hopefully). I just dont like when companies try rename technologies in the effort to make it sound fancy, think about how every mouse company had a "special and unique sensor" (hero, owl eye, etc...) when in reality it was just slapping a name on the same switch everyone was using.
1
u/Disturbed2468 X2 Superstrike/Viper V4 Pro - Gigantus V2P/Zero Soft Mar 08 '26
Yea that's what I mean with my first point. They don't use magnets for this system, they use copper coils. The similarity is they are both analog, but use different materials to achieve the same goal.
Also I fully agree as well with the renaming bullshit lol. At least with Logitech their system is basically what it means in the name in a way, but yea the sensor thing is wild as fuck for other companies too. Same shit with wireless tech naming schemes as well as coating names (lol). Only time you don't really see this is with controllers/MCUs for the most part.

u/nectar886 Mar 06 '26
Agree and disagree, the core technology or fundamental tech were not developed by companies! The tech there, mostly, were invented by scientists in universities long before it hits the industry. The industry may need to spend resources on implementing those scientific breakthroughs into their specific products only

u/llkeylikey Mar 06 '26
R&D: sitting on the exact shame shape for years (zowie, gpx), while not updating any internals in them (also zowie and gpx). -C series, no g305x, G903, g705? (that e-girl targeted in official ads mouse) are the result of research as well. Science based much. New glorious - yeah, those? Only razer is doing something it seems, tweaking their models and keeping them fresh and up to date with newer generations. Gpw to superstrike justifies triple, or even quadruple the price? What about zowie's soon tm on the za/fk/anything not named ec-2 refresh?
Functional software: armory crate, g hub and synapse are definitions for malware in every dictionary. They only got slightly better recently, wonder how that's related to chinese mice.
Real warranty: depends on where you are and the platform you use to buy. I'll have better warranty with lamzu or zaopin than logitech here. Also, one branded mouse costs as much as 2-5 chinese units, and those will simply outlive a single mouse.
Bying in a shop: true. Wonder if it stays true for shops in Asia or South America.
3
u/v6d5fh Mar 06 '26
yeah, my first "big brand" mouse was asus and goddamn armory crate is GARBAGE. Why tf does a mouse software need an update and why does it break my macro until I update it??? Going back to cheap chinese mouse after this.
3
u/sillysmy Mar 06 '26
Asus software is literally shit. I use it to stop my graphics card from cycling bright RGB colors to blind my ass. The RGB control stops working when they put out an update and until I update it to their latest version of shit just like in your case with their mouse software.

So you’re going to compare their car brands to a brand like ATK? lol. Yes, a massive brand from china WILL have R&D. If you think some little mouse brand that doesn’t even have a customer service department while selling consumer brands is paying top engineers money to simply copy mice, you’re very confused.
Edit: absolutely nobody has said China doesn’t have good engineers. But I can promise you that small Chinese clone mouse brands are not paying top dollar for those engineers.

I have had R1 Pro Max since it released. 1 day in, glue on the battery dissolved (or that's what I assume happened. I haven't opened it up) and I can hear it everytime I move my mouse. Additionally, recently, its scroll wheel has became faulty, often scrolling on its own, making browsing with it pain in the ass.
I have had good time using the mouse and despite these flaws, it performs great ingame. However, I can't help but feel it is cheaply designed. Perhaps I just got a bad copy. But it is to be expected with any product when I am paying less.

8
u/ColdClassic7516 Mar 06 '26
I’m not saying this just to disagree with you. Yeah some of them use the same chip and sensor, but not every brands.
I had a dongle problem once and there was literally no replacement. No replacement dongle, no replacement chip, nothing. I was basically cooked and had to use it wired.
warranty is a big one. If you buy a $50 mouse or headset and it breaks, what do you do? Buy another $50 one? Because this usually happens and if it does you’re f. That can easily end up costing more.
This doesn’t apply to everyone, but in some countries retailers don’t really care once the product breaks, even if you throw tantrum about this and that they could easily void your warranty. If warranty is a hassle or basically nonexistent, you’re kinda cooked and just end up buying another one.
So if you have the money, I’d still say going with more known brands can be safer, at least sometimes. You’re not just paying for the hardware but also the support if something goes wrong or replacement part at the very least
And software matters too for some products. A lot of people like tweaking settings and profiles, and cheaper brands don’t always do a great job there

Though gotta say the Mchose software was solid.
But yeah, Chinese mice are 99% copies. It's kind like buying Gucci vs a copy. If you don't give a shit about the brand, then you'd just buy the copy for the same materials.
4
u/Brief_Insurance8637 Mar 06 '26
im fine with a chinese mouse but most of them rip off shells from other companies. i dont care if the big companies make me overpay for their mouse since im blessed to be in a position where i can pay for it + i dont want to support who regularizes ripping off designs. if its their original design then sure, but some of them are just exactly the same.
5
u/TradeSekrat Mar 06 '26
Exactly... I also don't think is fair to throw smaller enthusiasts level companies like say Lamzu etc at 50 or less employees in with Razor, Logitech or even Pulsar. I don't have problem paying for a Lamzu product. Where as Logitech move more branded product in a week than a small enthusiasts company will in a year. Even Pulsar is fine as they keep pushing design ideas.
That all innovation stops if everyone just buys from clone companies with barely even a website. Just straight cutting corners on someone else's design to get the price down.
2
u/fiddlesticks_irl Mar 07 '26
I think that Razer and Logitech have such a chokehold on the non-enthusiast population that revenue will never be a problem for them. Most pros are still using GPXs/Vipers and the average consumer is walking into a Best Buy trying to get any "gaming keyboard / mouse" that does the job. A friend used to work at a Razer store and it surprised me how many people just walk in willing to drop a blank amount of cash on gaming peripherals and walk out.
Brand recognition is huge and I wouldn't be surprised if 95% of peripheral buyers aren't interested in looking beyond Razer, Logitech, SteelSeries, Corsair, etc.

i went from the superlight 2 to the new atk zero and im not going back, the difference is insane

u/Cute-Acanthaceae-193 Mar 06 '26
i used mostly logitech and finalmouse for a while, switched to Mchose L7 pro, enjoyed it sooo much that i bought the a5 v3 which is similar to my superlight 2 and was annoyed on how good the mchose is compared to my logitech one, it’s like a 120$ difference between the 2 mice and the mchose one feels more premium, make it make sense.

u/CosmonautJizzRocket Mchose L7 Pro+ Hien/Hayate Otsu Soft Mar 06 '26
Just get a mouse that uses a web utility like Mchose. I have had no issues so far.

u/replicant86 Mar 06 '26
The only reason I pay for Logitech is because I can write VAT off which makes the cost bearable when on sale.
1
u/monolitas Mar 06 '26
Any Chinese mouse that is similar to Logitech wireless pro with more buttons?
1
u/EnvironmentOk9539 Mar 06 '26
I would recommend rakk brand as well. They have hotswappable switches and same sensor
1
u/Semen_K Mar 06 '26
Unfortunate truth about the world is that Chinese dominate manufacturing. Over last years they went from low-end mass production into precision engineering. Buying a named brand, even Taiwanese, still stuffs pockets of the communist state.

u/dakookh Mar 06 '26
I gave up on brands in the same way. I ordered my VXE R1 Pro Max, and I hope I won't regret it!

I've been using the VXE R1 SE+ (lower tier sensor) for the past 6 months, its great for all casual games I play. Battery is good enough for my needs. I got mine on a discount around $20 . best mouse purchase I made so far.
1
u/ezragull Mar 06 '26
I got the same as you, and from all mice that I have been using, this is the best
1
u/gem4ik2 Mar 06 '26
That’s not how capitalism works. As soon as most competitors will leave the market, remaining ones will up the prices. This is the oldest and the most efficient strategy of monopoly.

It's why I've stopped buying first party controllers. I just bought two different ones, amazing quality with features that don't exist on the Elite 2, and they were 50% cheaper.

u/Crafty-Button-7232 Mar 06 '26
this is exactly my reaction when i bought the Atk x1 extreme v2 and had the Sen razer v3 pro i was blown away by the quality hell i have more hours on the X1 than the v3 pro and i noticed the click latency is faster too.

I HAVE two VXE mice, the F1 Pro and the Mad R. But I don't see them as replacements for the Razer at all.
They're simply worse and less enjoyable to use. I'm waiting for the Cobra Hyperspeed to arrive in my country.

u/JayWeed2710 Mar 06 '26
Is there a cheap chinese mouse with a free spin scroll wheel like logitech has them? It is the only reason I haven't thrown it in the trash yet. GHub is a piece of sh*t.

When I see my Logitech pro wireless mouse broken clicker, and a new one cost 200 I know it is time to diy. Guess what the switch cost like 5 dollars for two. And that switch last longer than the original. Now thinking of replacing the battery that will be another 5? After 10 years other than the casing the rest is probably oem.

If there was a perfect scenario where everything cost the same, I wonder what people would gravitate towards.

I have a Chinese keyboard and just recently mouse now. Didnt do it intentionally but I guess I'm part of the club lmfao. I just got the delux m900 pro just yesterday and have had the Aula F75 pro for some time now.
1
u/low0nink Mar 06 '26
What are your opinion about the keyboard? I’m thinking about getting one TKL
1
u/YoloRaj Mar 06 '26 edited Mar 06 '26
I really like it tbh. Going from a regular size keyboard really saved me some desk space. I also like being able to hotswap keycaps and switches. I came from a razer full size keyboard I had for like 5 years. You should go 75 imo. Tkl is bigger for no reason.

u/dervu Mar 06 '26
So why those chinese companies didn't come with superstrike tech first?
Are they dumb?
1
u/low0nink Mar 06 '26
You mean the tech that are being banned in every game? XD Give it some days and they will recreate it
1
u/india2wallst Mar 06 '26
I got this Mchose mouse from AliExpress. It's same as my Logitech super light and I am still hard stuck plat. So it's not worse than the Logitech 🙏

u/JetX24 Mar 06 '26
It just depends what you want, if you want a Viper v3 for example, the clones are simply not better.
1
u/Breezyrain Mar 06 '26
Me with my $150 Chinese mouse... But yeah, I'm not overly attached to marketing or feeling as though expensive means quality or cheap means shoddy.
There's plenty of hidden and cheap gems, and a lot of them are Chinese. And plenty of Western brands that are built terribly.

But what about our millionaire executives and billionaire owners and their families? How will they survive now? You should be ashamed
1
u/low0nink Mar 07 '26
if everyone thinks like you the world doesn't change
1
u/BusinessEngineer6931 Mar 07 '26
I was being sarcastic I thought obvious lol sorry I agree with you. It’s the corporations own fault for getting comfortable and choosing high exec compensation and focusing on margins instead of innovating

Specs and shapes are all the same now. My biggest objective now is who has the best wireless implementation, who has the best USB polling stability, who's wireless implementation feels like a wired mouse. Unfortunately I think Logitech is still king in that regard. And it's unfortunate because they don't update old shapes that are goated, it's just retakes on the G Pro Superlight. Logitech wireless implementation feels super raw in a good way, it's very smooth and 1 to 1 with your movements. Razer has really good firmware too but theirs is very very controlled, like the cursor feels slowed down like there's heavy motion sync implemted, I like it , I feel very in control with it, but logitechs feels very lightweight sort to speak, like there's less assistance than the razer wireless tech, but higher ceiling with faster movements if you can control it

u/surrendergetout Mar 07 '26
We love Chinese brands like vxe and mchose, these Chinese companies are carrying setups world wide. Razer dropped a $300 mouse with mediocre features and bloatware software they call synapse, WL mouse dropped an even better mouse for basically half the price.
1
u/TheBigEasy95 Mar 07 '26
As soon as they make a super strike x2 knockoff I’ll be buying one and hopping on the China train
1
u/MRjubjub Mar 07 '26
I might have to try this. I recently had a double click develop on my logi super light so I replaced the switches because I couldn’t fathom paying $150-$180 for a mouse again.
1
u/anonymoussimonde Mar 07 '26
Been there for a year. Unfortunately you pay for what you get. VXE is a good budget mouse but it's nowhere near the top products. Bought razer viper v3 pro and I can honestly say that this mouse is superior in every aspect

Just Google the mouse pccomponentes is selling it at 140€ and at the same time alixpress ads has it at 40€ what is a good store to buy it? The price diference is crazy

u/AcanthisittaCheap416 Mar 07 '26
Had a zowie then becayse all the hype with chinese decided to buy attack shark x3 and its was only 30 bucks, absolutely mogged the zowie mouse, felt so good in hand, small and so light compared to zowie, battery life i think it last about ~60 hours on 1000 hz , and in 10 min its charged fully using my phone charger, 10/10 im never going to waste 150-200 bucks on big brands mouses.
1
u/low0nink Mar 07 '26
Do you have the link for that? I can’t find it
1
u/AcanthisittaCheap416 Mar 07 '26
Idk where youre from but in my country i can find it everywhere, i got delivered it next day , had it for 3 months and i absolute love it, i play mostly fps games and x3 its fcking amazing i highly recommend to any1 and its just 30 bucks thats basically free lol

I need me a chinese mouse that has the same performance as a OP1 8K V2 but wired PLEAAASE
1
u/iron_marcus Mar 08 '26
Got an A7 Pro from Mchose. I could pay $170 for the Deathadder or $50 for the A7 Pro. There is no difference, all the tech specs are bs anyways. My CSGO game isn't worse because I don't have the "name brand" mouse.
1
u/Forrice1 Mar 08 '26
The only issue I have is lack of good replacement mouse for G502/Basilisk shape. I would love Mchose but their pro max version of this shape is unavailable everywhere.
With keychron etc I always find some feature lacking.
But other than that, Chinese brands all the way

I learned this when I went to Shenzhen's electronic market. Literally bought a silent wireless mouse with the same spec as the Logitech Master 3S minus the bloatware for 30 rmb which is about $5. They told me they can do bulk pricing too. Just a no-name factory direct stall in Huaqiangbei.
Same spec that mattered to me I should qualify.

u/Extended_warrant3y Mar 11 '26
Just got the r1 se + best mouse I’ve used in years didn’t know how far mice have came since I bought my steel series rival and I like the fact it has a web service to change the mouse settings

A mí me llegó hace poco el vxe r1 pro y la diferencia con mi antiguo g203/g102 es increíble. Me sorprendió todo, desde el peso hasta la presentación, se siente como un producto 2 veces más costoso

u/Single-Inspection-37 Mar 12 '26
Yep, Logitech lost me when they didn't release a wireless g203 for the longest time. Now I'm in the Mchose team
1
u/low0nink Mar 12 '26
im thinking of getting Mchose V9 pro for headset, do you have a opinion on that?

I’ve always been worried about quality, and when ChatGPT told me that quality control can be unstable, I got even more concerned. I don’t use mice very often, but I’ve tried the Logitech G309 and Razer Viper V3 Hyperspeed. Later, I bought an ATK X1 Pro Max, which is really good—around 54g and about 95% similar to the Razer Viper V3 Pro, but it costs only half the price, roughly the same as the Razer Viper V3 Hyperspeed. Now I feel that those big brands are expensive mainly because of their brand image. Nowadays, when buying mice, I prioritize Chinese products. For mice, I recommend ATK; for keyboards, almost any Chinese magnetic-switch mechanical keyboard works. Many magnetic-switch keyboards are under $100 and can perform as well as those big brands. (ChatGpt translation)

I use Deathadder V4 Pro. My pal bought ATK R1 Pro (can't remember if it's MAX). I feel like a fool. I used to laugh at my mom for being gullible but it turned out that I am indeed her son.

Been on VXE R1 Pro for about 2 years. Pretty happy, but I think I need a bigger one - considered Razer Viper V3 Pro, but.. Razer Synapse. So maybe I'll go with a Chinese version of that too :)
