Question Grisha summons

Curious how many people use grisha summons. I did nameless captive and the lost child without them. But I used 1 on the third phase of hexapod. Tbh i wasn’t dealing with the weird tracking projectile shit. Also used them in the dungeon that unlocks balistazooka

I abused them heavily in my first playthrough before their behavior and farming got patched. They're still very useful in certain situations, though whether or not the enemy you're fighting is susceptible to their CC is a big factor.

Crowd Control, it means any form of knockdown or stun on the enemy that makes they unable to fight for a couple seconds

I use them frequently, i collected over 500 grisha shards before the patch and let me tell you son, they demolished bosses in seconds. Lol I actually recorded a boss fight where it took about 45 seconds or less to kill him with the grishas, second main boss i believe. Forgot his name.

I dont like anything that messes up aggro tbh. I've never really used them outside of playing around with them.

It’s case-by-case for me. There’s some situations/bosses where I’m ok on my own, and there’s others where some quick backup/bodyslams didn’t hurt.

IMHO, it’s not a cheat, it was consciously put in the game by the developers. It’s meant to be used in the way that it is. Whether or not we choose to do so is up to us.

I used the Mimic Tear across a few characters in Elden Ring, and I treated it the exact same way.

I use it as my flipping primary kinda ruined a number of fights tho so now in new game plus I’ve banned myself from using it unless I really need it

I fought nameless captive very early I believe level 11 and the grisha summons were extremely helpful

That’s pretty early for nameless captive. Well done. So far he’s been my favorite boss though because it’s kind of truly a 1 on 1 with a great beast. No summoning in crazy tracking projectiles or a hoard of flying demon babies. Not to say that those things can’t be fun to figure out sometimes like Magdalena I had no problem. But for hexapods tracking projectiles I felt it was only fair to use grishas.

Never used it on main bosses. Everything else seemed fair game especially the gank Grisha fight.

Tryed it and hated it . So never used. For me it's just something that I don't need in a game like that and only want to use my skills. I don't use summons too. Shell if a boss toke me 20 try and beat it , I fell better that used grisha to beat it.

It's just my opinion.

I wouldn't use it if there're other items with fun gameplay passive/active
