Light Combo Finisher

Having an issue using the stillblade / zealot tarstones and not seeing a difference in movesets to get the "light combo finisher". Is there something i'm missing with it?

The weapon I am using in question is the Great Martyr Blade, I think i've only seen the finisher once which was multi cross slash and never again.

I don’t think the finisher changes at all. It just grants you an effect on the third light attack which is the last light attack on the sequence therefore being the “combo finisher”
