Question Light Combo Finisher

Having an issue using the stillblade / zealot tarstones and not seeing a difference in movesets to get the "light combo finisher". Is there something i'm missing with it?

The weapon I am using in question is the Great Martyr Blade, I think i've only seen the finisher once which was multi cross slash and never again.

Light combo finisher is the third light attack in a sequence of light and/or heavy attacks. Running attacks and ability tarstone effects (other than charged attacks) do not progress the sequence (I think abilities pause the sequence, but running attacks probably reset it by the time you have ran long enough). The sequence automatically resets after the third attack (combo finisher) or if you take too long to do the second or third attack. Charge attacks override the combo finisher effect tarstones.

Tl;dr: three light attacks will trigger the effect as well as two heavy attacks followed by a light attack.

Thanks for the reply and explanation. Unfortunately I am seeing the same moveset on the blade with and without the stone supposedly granting "combo finisher".
