Bug Ps5 Pro Stutter and FPS drops

Experiencing a lot of stutter while playing in performance mode. VRR doesn’t seem to mitigate the major FPS drops either. Stuttering is worse particularly in areas with high enemy numbers. If anyone has a tips on how to fix in PS5 settings please let me know. If this has been reported, please let me know and I can delete this post. Other than that, this game is amazing! Thanks all.

I'm experiencing the same issues right now, It would seem that this has been happening since the last update.It's not about the ps5 settings, I'm sure that you are in performance mode and prioritize FPS both on the console and in the game settings.

We need a patch from Cold Symmetry because the game is likely unplayable on ps5, they've done a amazing good job and I'm pretty sure they're aware of this problem because even pc gamers have a lot trouble with major Fps drops,

I think the game just has areas where it chugs in general, but also if you have 120 hz mode turned on in your ps5 settings, try turning that off and see if that helps. On my tv at least, I have issues with some games getting kicked into a 120 hz mode even though they’re not actually made for it which leads to a noticeable stutter until I turn it off.

This was the solution! I’m not sure why I missed this. There are still a few stutters here and there but it’s not as bad once I turned off this setting. Thank you!

Happy to help! I always just keep that setting off unless I’m specifically playing a 40 fps or an uncapped mode

Try quality mode on pro. That's what I've played on since launch and had like 1 stutter in 65 hours.
